Every week in Aotearoa, three families are told the heart-breaking news that their child has cancer. Child Cancer Foundation supports them every step of the way, but we need your help.
We need to raise $6 million each year and we don’t receive any direct government funding, so these families rely on the generosity of their fellow Kiwis.
That’s why every dollar collected during our Street Appeal makes a difference.

Volunteering questions
We will provide you with a Child Cancer Foundation bib or sash, bucket and thank you stickers. You will either take these over from the person collecting before you, or your Area Coordinator will drop them off for you.
You need to make sure you're dressed for the weather, and bring anything else you might need for the two-hour shift (e.g. water and snacks).
An Area Coordinator is your key contact person who will help troubleshoot any problems over the Appeal days. They will also replace your collection bucket with empty ones and bank the collected funds from your area at the end of the Appeal.
If you would like to volunteer as an Area Coordinator, please register your interest here.
Fantastic! Please get in touch with our team and ask about adopting a collection site. We will find a site that suits you, and your team will be allocated to that site for the day.
