Want to be an Area Coordinator, or Adopt a Site?
Child Cancer Foundation’s Nationwide Street Appeal is back for 2025 and we urgently need as many volunteers as we can get all over the motu! Volunteers are a critical part of helping us raise the funds we need to support tamariki with cancer and their families in Aotearoa.
Will you join us?
This is a fun and rewarding way to support families going through the toughest time of their lives. Every dollar you help collect will go towards caring for families impacted by childhood cancer.
As an Area Coordinator you will:
- Maximise your impact: Area Coordinators play an essential role as the main point of contact for volunteers in their area. The more Area Coordinators we have, the better! Well-organised sites mean more funds can be raised.
- Support: You'll kit out your volunteers with everything they need to raise funds in your local community and help them from start to finish.
- Organise: You’ll take charge of the logistics in your area and deposit the donations that fund vital support for tamariki with cancer and their families.
- Communicate: As the go-to person for your local volunteers, you’ll be handling questions and keeping everything running smoothly, making sure every bit of effort counts.
Street Appeal will be on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 March 2025. If you're available for just one of those days, you can still raise a hand!
For those who want to Adopt a Site:
Got some people power? Adopt a collection site by getting your organisation, school or community group together to collect donations for one or both days. Perfect if your workplace offers time off to volunteer and do good in your community! Register your interest now and we will help you find a local site that’s best for you and your team.
With no government funding, Child Cancer Foundation needs to raise $6 million a year to wrap essential care around Kiwi kids with cancer and the families who love them. That’s why every dollar collected at our Street Appeal makes a difference. You can help by becoming an Area Coordinator or Adopting a Site today.
Register your interest now by filling in the form below. You can also email us at appeal.coordinator@
Please note that all volunteer Area Coordinators will be police vetted.
