Express interest to be an Area Coordinator
Child Cancer Foundation is seeking approachable and well-organised people to coordinate local collection sites for our nationwide Street Appeal on Friday 8 and/or Saturday 9 March 2024.
Our Street Appeal is one of our biggest fundraising events of the year, where hundreds of incredible volunteers take to the streets to collect the critical funds needed to support tamariki with cancer and their families. By stepping in as a volunteer Area Coordinator, you’ll become a key part of this fun and fulfilling event.
This role will involve:
- Support: You'll be kitting out our volunteers with everything they need to raise funds in your local community.
- Organise: You’ll take charge of the logistics in your area and bank the donations that fund vital support for tamariki with cancer and their families.
- Communicate: As the main point of contact for your local volunteers, you’ll be handling questions and keeping everything running smoothly, making sure every bit of effort counts.
We need to raise $6 million each year and we don’t receive any direct government funding, so these families rely on the generosity of their fellow Kiwis. That’s why every dollar collected during our Street Appeal makes a difference. You can help by becoming an Area Coordinator today.
Register your interest by filling out the form below, emailing appeal.coordinator@
Please note that all volunteer Area Coordinators will be police vetted.
Thanks - closed for 2024.
